It is a common problem that a two minute delay is experienced when the IP address of the ssh client cannot be reversed (DNS) in a Solaris 10 host. To fix this:

Edit the file /etc/ssh/sshd_config and change the line:

 LookupClientHostnames=no

Then restart ssh:

 # svcadm restart ssh
