SYSTEM INFORMATION
This is a Motorola Type II 800 MHz Trunked System that is simulcasted from four
transmitter towers.
Site 1 EOC Building - 101 N. Rock Rd., Ft. Pierce
Site 2 6122 Glades Rd., Ft. Pierce
Site 3 1201-1 Lennard Dr., Pt. St. Lucie
Site 4 28000 Okeechobee Rd, Ft. Pierce

c = also used for the control channel.
M6 = Motorola Radio talkgroup ID (Motorola 6 digit hex)
MH = Trunk Tracker program talkgroup ID (Motorola hex)
Tkgrp = Uniden / Radio Shack scanner talkgroup ID (Decimal)

The following agencies are on this system:
St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department
St. Lucie County Fire District
St. Lucie County Animal Control
St. Lucie County School Board
St. Lucie County Government
Fort Pierce Police Department
Ft. Pierce City Government
Port St. Lucie Police Department
Port St. Lucie City Government
Florida Division of Forestry

System Observations
  - Talkgroups are spaced at 32 apart.
  - The digital talkgroups are reserved for undercover operations by the police and sheriff departments.
  - The system displays to the dispatcher the radio ID and if it is the portable or the car unit
    transmitting.
  - Only talkgroups that I have heard traffic on are listed. There are many other talkgroups in the
system but are probably not activated yet or used for special events, emergency, backup, digital
    etc. and not used often.
  - Only the repeater output frequencies are listed. The repeater input frequencies are 45.00 MHz lower.
  - Ft. Pierce Utility Authority is still on the VHF/UHF frequencies.
  - All radios in the system are programmed with the "Wide Area" talkgroups. They are used for
interoperability throughout the county in the event of a disaster.
  - This system can be patched to the Martin County 800 MHz System.
  - The geographic division between east and west dispatch for Pt. St. Lucie PD appears to be the Florida
    Turnpike.

STATUS BITS
Refer to your scanner manual on how to activate the status bit talkgroups. This is useful
if you just what to monitor the system for certain types of transmissions without monitoring
the rest of the traffic on the talkgroup.

Example: Talkgroup 336 is Sheriff's Dispatch channel. With the scanner in status bit mode,
enter 343 instead of 336 and you will only hear BOLO's (Be On The Lookout), alerts etc.
without hearing all the rest of the communications on the channel.

338 Sheriff Emergency (When an officer activates the emergency alert button on his radio)
339 Sheriff crosspatch with Port St. Lucie PD
343 Sheriff local BOLO's, Alerts etc.
407 Sheriff countywide BOLO's, Alerts etc.
1271 Fire Rescue Fleet Call
1335 Fire Rescue Fleet Call
2866 Ft. Pierce PD Emergency
2871 Ft. Pierce PD Bolo's, Alerts etc.
3314 St. Lucie PD Emergency
