Ham radio digital voice modes

As of 2018 there are four digital voice modes in use for Amateur Radio: Icom backed D-Star, Public-safety based P25, Open standards DMR and Yaesu backed Fusion. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_amateur_radio_modes#Digital_voice for further info.

But what to get?

Well that largely depends on your area and what hams in your community are using for repeaters or nodes.
